Prices below include my pressing of top and backing, set-up on the machine, quilting in a meandering random curvy pattern, circles, or wave pattern (see samples) with my light gray or white thread, and trimming excess to edge of quilt (if you desire). Pricing assumes the customer provides the following:
● Quilt top edge-stitched 1/8” from edge, straight stitch, not zig-zag (to prevent seams from pulling open when setting up on quilting frame)
● Backing prepared four inches larger than top all around, any joining seams within the backing trimmed of selvages. Selvage on the outer edge of backing is desired.
● Quilt batting
Every quilter I know has some parts of the project that they like to do and some they don’t. If you don’t wish to do the edge stitching or prepare the backing, these are available as additional services at a cost of $20/hour, billable in quarter-hour increments.

BINDING – prices above do not include any part of the binding process, but I can provide these as additional services at a cost of $20/hour, billable in quarter-hour increments. (As an example, complete binding from start to finish is about 2 hours for a twin size.) Request any of the following binding steps:
● Cut and join and press binding strips only, with your fabric
● Sew the binding to the front or back of the quilt if you like to hand-stitch the second step
● Machine stitch the second step if you don’t hand stitch
BATTING - Cotton batting is available from me at $8.00/yard, billable in ¼ yard. (Fairfield Toasty Cotton)
THREAD - If you wish a different color thread, my machine uses GLIDE brand thread No. 40. You can provide this thread or I can provide for $6.00. You don’t want to buy the individual pre-wound bobbins I use because they only come in packs of 10, I will choose a color close to your backing from my supply as included in the quilting price.
